Meet Shari and Brad!!

From Western NY, our engagement session began in a beautiful park on a sweet summer day with two people madly in love and a excited little girl named, Autumn, ready to call themselves a family!

Autumn, Shari and Brad:

When they agreed to do a chalk-walk thru the tulips..i knew this would be a fun couple to shoot!!We all got to play with the chalks..draw our scenery ..and set off for some fun!

After our chalk-walk, we found a pretty field..and stopped to rest for a bit..
complete with paper flowers that my niece, Katie, made..the scene was set for some romantic moments and snuggle time!

They're due to wed in a tropical location this year...and I wish them all the best for a beautiful, fun and adventurous life together!

Session Fee Special $75

Session fee includes up to 2 hours of fun at a location that will ROCK! I love being creative and finding off-the-wall locations! An old barn, a wheat or corn field, an abandoned farmhouse or an alley way in the middle of town… Let the Adventure begin (and pray that we don’t get arrested for trespassing!) ;)

Bring as many outfits as you want – but keep in mind we have two hours to fit it all in.

I encourage you to bring props or items that reflect you and your personality.

The session fee includes my time, post processing, editing, artistic effects, and your own online viewing gallery. I will email you a portrait session contract and a pre-addressed stamp envelope for you to sign and return to me with your check. This fee is non-refundable and is due at contract signing to reserve your appointment date. Please have this back to me asap!

After your session, please allow up to 4 weeks before your photos are ready to be viewed in your gallery. I will email you the website link along with a password that you can share with your family and friends. Your online viewing gallery will only be available for 30 days.

You can then pick out a collection package and let me know which photos you’d like.

Payment accepted in form of cash, check or paypal.
Order within a week of your gallery going live, and receive a 10% discount!!

Shipping charges will be determined at time of sale.

Western NY .. Im a'comin' HOME!!!

Exciting News!!!! 8am Photography is coming to Western NY in August to visit family and friends..to photograph a wedding...along with some high school seniors...and best of all.. to see my MOM and loved ones!!!! IM SO EXCITED!!!!

It has been over 2 years since being back in town..and I can't wait! Im hoping there's at least ONE good thunderstorm.. (but please dear lord, not on august 27th)..and I pray that the humidity won't be too bad.. HA! But I won't care. It will be worth it! :)

Im looking forward to going exploring to find new photo shoot locations..and hunting for old abandoned houses and buildings and risking the chance of getting arrested for trespassing ;) shhhhhh... no tipping off the Orleans County sheriffs department!!

Today, my Dad would have turned 82 and it has been over 2 years since his passing. I can't wait to get back home and hug my mom..my brother..my sister(s)..my neices and nephews..my aunts..and my cousins. Just to sit in my mom's kitchen..at her little kitchen table..and sip her coffee and listen to her stories..and stare in admiration at how she is managing to get along without dad by her side.. to admire her strength..and to hear her laugh..and to see her smile..and to share some tears and tissues with her..i soooo can't wait.

Happy Birthday Dad..I hope the angels have baked you a spice cake..or brought you a double chocolate cake from Wegmans..and has fresh, icy cold Pepsi on hand for you :) I miss you.

Mission Inn - Riverside Area- Engagement Session with Ray & Irene!

So.. my first wedding booked..and look at the ADORABLE couple that I get to shoot!! How lucky am I??? Ray and Irene will be married on 9-10-11.. what a memorable day this will be for everyone!

Im so looking forward to their day and capturing the love these two share. The sparkle in their eyes when they look at each other sends little lightning bolts thru the air :)

The weather this day was just right..just the right amount of light..and the temperature was perfect! I had never been to the Mission Inn in Riverside, so I had fun doing some 'exploring' before Ray and Irene showed up. Lots of cool alleys, stairs, walls ..knooks and places to sit and ponder. It was fun to even find some leaves still lingering around under a tree!

Irene's going to make a beautiful bride..and Ray is going to look amazing in his tux.. I can't wait!

When Karissa and Alaena said they wanted to have a shoot.. I called my friend, Betty, and we all met and got to play for an afternoon!

While the tunes played on my make-shift boombox (my cell phone..thank you Pandora)..the girls rocked it out!!!!

Pretty scarves, and old ladder.. quaint wooden umbrellas..funky high-heels and lots of grafitti make for a nice mix of colors and textures...

add to that..the gorgeous sun-setting light that bathed the girls in a golden yumminess!!!

Held at the TCR Ranch..about 50 photogs gathered to take part in the theme "Cowboy Casanova" shoot.

The grounds to the estate were amazing..and the models were just so professional, beautiful and friendly!

Remembering Penny..
balloons were sent off to the heavens to let her know we love her and think of her everyday!
The day was perfect.. beautiful blue skies polka-dotted with white fluffy clouds..and a light wind. Just enough wind to send our heavenly messages up into the clouds :)

I also sent a message to my dad, my brother, and Tippy & Honey..

It's still hard to believe they are not with us anymore..and my eyes fill with tears each time that reality sets in..
but i know they are in my heart.. i know they appear in my dreams..and i know they are keeping watch from those white fluffy clouds up in the sky..

Tomorrow (April 13th) would have been Penny's 57th birthday..and as a celebration of her time here..and in remembrance of her..a bunch of us will be letting off red, lime green, and yellow balloons at 11 am pacific time in her honor.
I hope if you read this.. and want to participate.. you will do so too :) If you can't let off balloons.. i think Penny would enjoy a good solid minute (or heck..make a day of it!) of not silence.. but of laughter, jubilation, cheering, celebrating and being silly..i know she'd have a good chuckle over that!!

Essa enjoys visiting everyday to play with her friends.. running and romping and wrestling..and getting pretty tuckered out by the end of an hour!
We've met all kinds of dogs.. all different breeds.. all different personalities..and everyone gets along very well!
Socializing is soooo important at a young age..Im so glad we found this place..and so glad to have made new friends .. both four-legged and the two legged kind :)

Essa has been having fun at the dog park. We've been hitting the park every day..and letting her run, sniff, explore, dig, and making new friends.

yesterday morning she got to meet Blitz..a weimaraner.. who was just beautiful! His owner said that weimaraners are suppose to weigh about 80 pounds max.. but his 'Blitz" was topping the scales at 120!!
He was solid and like a freight train! Essa gave him a run for his money.. and after about 10 min..we said our goodbyes. Once we got to the car..the poor lil girl was POOPED out! I think i heard her say.."Wow Mom..he was Big! Will i ever get that big someday?" lol..

poor essa-peppers had to go to the doc on thurs. to be spayed :( I didn't realize they were going to keep her all nite! :(

Although this turkey day, we sadly missed my dad and his silly jokes and charming ways.. i feel he was with us the entire time..

so..to keep things 'light'..and in keeping with the tradition..me, my mom and my mother in law went and had a pedicure and came home with fancy toes :)

Mom opted for "pretty in pink"..and my mother in law went with a silvery white snowflake..
I opted for sexy red.. and then when the girl asked me what design I wanted on my toe.. i decided to go with a 'paw print'.. as i am a new puppy mommy and thought it would be cute :)

We're heading to Vegas, baby! But first..a stop over in Calico to rest..and to let Essa explore!
Her and Tippy did well during the drive.. Tippy doesn't mind the dog as long as Essa keeps her distance! Hopefully, in time, Tippy will come around and not be such a poopie-head!
Essa sleeps in her crate during the nite..and I only heard her whimper at 12:49 am and again at 2:01. I was tempted to get up and let her out..but resisted and fell back asleep.
Tim and I were awake by 5 am..and by 6 am..Essa finally woke up. She waits patiently while we make our pot of coffee and for us to get our shoes on.
She is such a good dog..she's so easy goin!!
After doing her business outside.. and shivering..(it's Coldddd here in Calico this morning..only about 45!) .. she's ready to play for a bit..and then its back to cuddle time! :)

Heading on the road in a bit for Vegas.. can't wait to mee up with our friends for the Annual Chili Cookoff! Friends of ours in Vegas do this annually..and even give out trophies!!! This will be our first year attending...and I hope our chili places!! :)
But first .. tonite's events include a cocktail and tattoo party at 3pm!!!!!!

Good Morning Blogland Peeps :)
We are off bright and early this morning...driving the RV up to Oregon!!! IM SO EXCITED and TITILLATED!! heehheee
We'll be stopping at and visiting with some goood friends, Christy and her "Elf".. hittin' the town in Portlandia..enjoying lots of libations such as the one pictured above ;) .. and hoping for some nice yummy fall weather :)
Then it's off to the Coast.. Waldport to be exact, for a couple of nites. Can't wait to see the Oregon Coast!
Then we'll slowly make our way down Hwy. 1... stopping in Manchester Bay...San Fran.. Monterey.. Ohhhh the Places we'll Go!! :)

Hi..My name is Sandy..and it's been 2 days since my last whiff of Puppy Breath and Im going thru Withdrawals!!

Sara and her roommate just got a PUPPY! And we had the pleasure of meeting her..and playing with her..and lovin' on her :)

Escape with me to Big Bear

~Big Bear Lake~
ahhhhh...Tim and I escaped to Big Bear this past week..and had the pleasure of cuddling up in the RV while listening to the pitter patter of raindrops on our roof :)

Such a sweet sound...especially when rain or any sort of moisture is rare in southern California!
Oh how I miss the downpours..the sideways rainstorms..the wind..the excitement of the East Coast weather fronts that used to blow thru :(

While Tim "worked" ..I got to explore and make new friends.. such as the one below that I nicknamed "Gimpy".
Gimpy had a back right foot that was swollen and caused him to walk with a gimp..and he even sat funny! He loved the tortilla chips and leftover dog food that I found..and trusted me enough to come right up and take it from my hand :)

(Tippy can never see these pictures or know of this..or he would never purr for me again!!)

Simple things such as clouds after a storm..and the delicate flowers that surrounded our campsite kept me and my camera busy while I relaxed.

I can't wait to return..maybe in November.. and hope for a chance of snow flakes to fall...ahhhhhh life is good :)

Tim and I had the pleasure of driving to Sedona, AZ..to spend three peaceful nites!! This place is SOOOOO AMAZING!!!!!

We were even treated to a little bit of rain..thunder and lightning during the weekend! :)
I can't wait to visit again!

Sorry I've been MIA in blogland.. I blame it alllll on Facebook for 'sucking' me in!!
My mother in law is here visiting for ten days..and already 6 days have past :( We've been just 'chillaxin'..and doing much of nothing..and ENJOYING it :)
I (we) will be sad to see her leave on thursday :( .. but hoping there may be a chance she can come back for Turkey day ::::Crossing my fingers:::::

For those of you who are bored..and wanting to go shopping.. but don't want to have to get dressed..do your makeup and hair..and fight traffic.. GOOD NEWS! you can do all your shopping, drooling and dreaming right from the chair you're sitting in now! WOw..My apologies..
I've been a very bad blogger!!!

Between Vegas..and camping..and family issues..and matters of the heart..and more camping..and moving my daughter back home..and then Rockband..and Wii..and that STooooPid Mafia Wars on facebook.. i've lost all track of of life online!!! YIKES!!

I did take some pictures a couple of weeks ago.. of flowers that were in my backyard..
thats about the only creative thing i've done!!

R & R time..and Giveaway Time!

Whew..
Now that all of the family health issues and concerns are slowly 'mending'.. Tim and I have decided to take off.. head to the desert...and even VEGAS baby! to spend some very much needed R&R time with each other..and friends!
Christy and her hubby are flying into Vegas on Thurs..and we'll meet up with them then..to parttttay away the weekend!!
I CANT WAIT!!
We'll also be stopping in Calico, CA to visit a Ghost Town and plan on doing some 'geocaching' !

This is "Gary" (Tim has his GPS that he named, "Martha"...well this is my GPS for when we go geocaching..and I've named him "Gary Garmin" hehehehe)

I hope to get lots of pics to share with you when we return :)

The Road to Recovery...

We received the some really good news tonite that my mother in law, Pat, made it thru surgery just fine :)
The doc went in and removed the mass from her lung..and didn't find anything else suspicious while in there. :)
She's a bit groggy still.. but I know she will be back on her feet before we know it!

She's a fighter..and one of the strongest women I've been blessed to know and have in my life.

Taken while we were in Hawaii last February..Mom stopping to take a picture of the cross at the top of the hill..

Her faith is the strongest I've ever come across..and her love and commitment to God even stronger yet. Her road may seem long, but she will have help from all of us to make her way back to a full recovery.

I, we, still have so much more to learn from her..and am truly blessed that she is my mother in law.

Stay tuff Mom..and hurry back home!
