It's actually RAINING here today.. not the usual 'misting' of moisture that occasionally happens.. but actual RAINDROPS!! :)

The Perfect day to clean.. create and cook!!

Here's my creation for the day:

I took this photo while hiking around the Lake Skinner reserve last year..and always wanted to manipulate this photo somehow. So with today being the perfect day for reflection.. this is what I came up with..

I've also updated my Etsy shop and have added Matted Photographs now available ..

Ok.. off to cook up something warm and comforting :)

Nesting!

This is what I created today.. part of my 'nesting' actions coming out..
Im so excited as I have lots of goodness coming up :) I have one of my best friends coming to visit in May!!
We plan on flying into Sacramento to meet up with some other Friends (Zinnie's one!)..and give Iva some much needed hugs and laughter :) We'l spend a couple of days there giggling and reminiscing and shopping...catching up on some Girl time!
Then we're flying back here and will travel around LA and visit some cute shops on our list (Violets are Blue) is one of them for sure!!! :) Can't wait!!My best friend and I will get to watch American Idol together (our favoritest show ever lol) and will get to spend lots of time painting and coloring and playing with the crayons and new papers due to arrive any day!

We plan on eating Ice cream..yummy pies, Jack in the Box.. and all that 'bad' stuff!
We plan on staying up late.. giggling and sharing dreams til the wee morning hours..
I plan on taking TONS of pictures.. and documenting our whole trip..
ahhhhh I soooo can't wait!!!

My hubby will be in NY for a week..giving a training class..and I am so jealous that he gets to go visit family.. and possibly get to enjoy a storm due to hit this weekend! I've sent him on his way with lots of hugs for my parents and his, as I miss them terribly.
The family from the East coast is due to arrive in June to partake in Graduation Festivities and I so can't wait for them to get here!!!
So.. i have lots of 'Nesting" to get done.. cleaning..preparing.. and arranging :)Why is it a woman's work is NEVER done??????
