this lil guy changed came into our lives and changed it forever!!

Andy was born in a snowstorm on Dec.14..and weighed 8 pounds 5 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long..

Essa is now addicted to chasing around the empty milk jugs!! I think its the sound of it along the floor or cement..and of course it has a convienent handle for her to carry it around with!

we've had a couple of accidents in the house today :(

fun was had by all...

and saying 'goodbye'..or 'see you next year'...is always so hard to do when loved ones have to leave :( but I think our moms had a good time here :)
Although this turkey day, we sadly missed my dad and his silly jokes and charming ways.. i feel he was with us the entire time..
we miss you dad..

so..to keep things 'light'..and in keeping with the tradition..me, my mom and my mother in law went and had a pedicure and came home with fancy toes :)

Mom opted for "pretty in pink"..and my mother in law went with a silvery white snowflake..
I opted for sexy red.. and then when the girl asked me what design I wanted on my toe.. i decided to go with a 'paw print'.. as i am a new puppy mommy and thought it would be cute :)
Not too certain if it looks like a pawprint tho..

..on the road...

We're heading to Vegas, baby! But first..a stop over in Calico to rest..and to let Essa explore!
Her and Tippy did well during the drive.. Tippy doesn't mind the dog as long as Essa keeps her distance! Hopefully, in time, Tippy will come around and not be such a poopie-head!
Essa sleeps in her crate during the nite..and I only heard her whimper at 12:49 am and again at 2:01. I was tempted to get up and let her out..but resisted and fell back asleep.
Tim and I were awake by 5 am..and by 6 am..Essa finally woke up. She waits patiently while we make our pot of coffee and for us to get our shoes on.
She is such a good dog..she's so easy goin!!
After doing her business outside.. and shivering..(it's Coldddd here in Calico this morning..only about 45!) .. she's ready to play for a bit..and then its back to cuddle time! :)

Heading on the road in a bit for Vegas.. can't wait to mee up with our friends for the Annual Chili Cookoff! Friends of ours in Vegas do this annually..and even give out trophies!!! This will be our first year attending...and I hope our chili places!! :)
But first .. tonite's events include a cocktail and tattoo party at 3pm!!!!!!
Who will be brave enough to get ink'd????

Off to Oregon....

Good Morning Blogland Peeps :)
We are off bright and early this morning...driving the RV up to Oregon!!! IM SO EXCITED and TITILLATED!! heehheee
We'll be stopping at and visiting with some goood friends, Christy and her "Elf".. hittin' the town in Portlandia..enjoying lots of libations such as the one pictured above ;) .. and hoping for some nice yummy fall weather :)
Then it's off to the Coast.. Waldport to be exact, for a couple of nites. Can't wait to see the Oregon Coast!
Then we'll slowly make our way down Hwy. 1... stopping in Manchester Bay...San Fran.. Monterey.. Ohhhh the Places we'll Go!! :)
So check back for photos.. maybe next week?
